We loved this visit. It was an unplanned event on a road trip. We saw the advertisments and went. It was relaxing as we took out time walking through and reading the documentation of the canal's history. We then took the boat ride up the canal which was great for a view of the local area and the historical information on the building and use of the canal. We learned a lot. I would reccomend this field trip for 7 to Adult. The younger ones would like and enjoy the boat ride up the canal but the museum is better enjoyed by someone who can read or who likes to be read to by their parent.
