Our family loves this museum--the staff is very helpful and filled with knowledge. If you live in the area or are from the area it is great!

But, what we REALLY love about ACHS is the "Walk Back in Time" festival which takes place on the museum grounds at the end of September each year. (Call for exact dates.) It is FREE!!! It is a weekend of historical re-enactments from early American history through WWII. There is a special tour for homeschool families on Friday afternoon. You would need to call for reservations.
THIS IS A NOT TO MISS EVENT!!!
