Facility:Alexander Ramsey House
Description:Built in 1872 of native limestone, the home was owned by the first governor of the Minnesota Territory. The house contains portraits, furnishings, and artifacts belonging to the Ramsey family.

Hours:Year round: Tours 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Thanksgiving - Dec. 31: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wed - Sat., 1 - 3 p.m. Sun.
Summer Tours: June 1 - Aug. 31 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1 p.m.

Guided tours on the hour. Group and Educational Tours for other days and hours by reservation.
Admission:$7 adults, $6 Senior citizens, and $4 children ages 6-17. Free for children under age 6 and MHS members. Different fees may apply for special events.
