Just last weekend, my children enjoyed sharing their (now) extensive art portfolios with their grandparents. I bought this series because art just wasn't getting done. Now it couldn't be more easy. The kids watch a very personable demonstration on DVD, I pull out the art supplies, and the kids go with gusto. Home Art Studio's DVD series has taken all the load of art planning off of my busy homeschool load. The lessons are engaging, straight forward and not so intricate as to make them more of a frustration than a help. I love this streamlined curriculum. My daughter asks to do the lessons regularly and I often use them as a reward.

This is a great art curriculum and the teacher is wonderful. The supplies can get a little expensive, but I shopped around and feel that it is a worthy investment. My girls love to go sit together and create a masterpiece. The teacher has so many different types of art she introduces and she makes it very interesting and engaging. I highly recommend this to any homeschooling family or any family who has kids that enjoy arts and crafts! I also love that my kids can do this completely independently.

My three oldest kids love this program! Ages 9, 7, and 6 are going through the K set first, and then they will all do the 2nd grade set. The teacher is clear and the projects are fairly hands-off for me, which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this to other families.

I have been using Home Art Studio now for about 15 weeks with 4th, 3rd, & K childern. I am mixing and matching from 3rd & 1st grade videos. My kids enjoy the classes very much and if we miss a lesson, they will remind me we have not done art yet. I had not consciously done art before this year and this is an easy way to incorporate art. I love this curriculum! It's really nice to get high-quality art instruction so easily. My son refers to Ms. Volin as "my art teacher." The projects are really beautiful and are always teaching underlying principles of art, not just turning out a nice finished product.
