This is a very convenient curriculum. Pay very close attention when signing up on the site itself, it can be a bit confusing and is easy to pick the wrong option. I first used DriversEd.com two years ago for my oldest child and had no hesitations to sign up my next child this past fall. I like it because it is self paced, affordable, and met the requirements for my state and I never have to ask, Have you done your driver's Ed homework? ~ they like the program! We are 72% into the DriversEd.com curriculum. So far, this has been a great solution for our son, and we are hoping to use it again for another son soon. This is a curriculum that the student can use at his own pace. Some lessons are longer than others. I like that my son cannot switch to the next screen until the timer goes off. That way I know he has looked at the page long enough to read it before going on to the next screen (I don't have a problem with this, but it does give me some peace of mind if I leave him alone to do this). We can do it at our own pace, she can take her time on doing the reviews she can also take as many testes she needs to before she has to go take the written test and be more comfortable with the test. I have told my family about it so they can teach it to their kids at home. We have 4 more children so we plan to use it for them as well. Thank You for a good product.

I saw an advertisement on a THSC email and clicked the link to view Homeschool Buyers Co-op (HBC). What peaked my interest was 40% discount for drivers ed, and since my daughter needed to start it, I thought I would check it out. My son has not finished this program yet. It did look to be the best one, of those accepted by the Virginia DMV, and I liked what I saw of it. He is progressing, he's learning and its not painful. I think that's about as good as it gets, honestly, with a 15 year old boy!

I had 3 children in 18 months, so they all reached the driving age at about the same time. I tried a different program with my oldest. It was a challenge. We never completed it. I heard good things about driversed.com, so I purchased it from the Co-op for my twins. They enjoyed it, and made progress quickly. I purchased it for my oldest. He was very happy with the program, and completed it quickly. I recommend it to all my friends.
