We love anything from Colonial Williamsburg. And getting it [at the Homeschool Buyers Co-op] here always has the best discounts! Colonial Williamsburg is also a great way of getting reluctant kids to learn about that era.

My kids have loved the on-line field trips. We are currently living in Senegal, Africa so the recent field trip about the slave trade was particularly interesting to my kids. We had already visited a slave trade house in Dakar on Goree Island. The field trip made history that much more meaningful and understandable.

Colonial Williamsburg is a fantastic resource for teaching history to any age. The videos are informative & interesting. My 11 year old wasn't interested in history at all until we started using Colonial Williamsburg...now she can't wait to see the next one & use the other resources. The quizzes are one of her favorites. Thank you for providing such a great opportunity for homeschoolers!

We are huge fans of Colonial Williamsburg, so it is a thrill to invite them into our home once a month during the school year through the Electronic Field Trips. My kids highly anticipate these delightful diversions, watching the storylines with favorite actors, engaging with historic people through question and answer, playing wonderfully designed on-topic computer games and even receiving e-mails from historic people in reply to personal queries! My kids enjoy all the activities as a mini-break/diversion from the regular school schedule. L...(more)

The Colonial Williamsburg field trips were so easy to use and my children really enjoyed them. The supplemental materials were a great tool as well! We printed them out and used them before the field trip aired. I loved that we could view them all year long, over and over again! I can't wait to see the new ones!
Jana Walker, Co-op Member
One of our favorites!!! We plan our schedules around these exciting days.
Vanessa Dorland, Co-op Member
My children are 7 and 9 and we loved our first electronic field trip. We did not prepare for it ahead of time, but we will for the rest of the field trips. They loved it and we had a great discussion afterwards. We look forward to the next one and hope to visit Colonial Williamsburg this spring.
Tracy, Co-op Member
High quality, professional productions along with q & a sessions with both the pros & heroes...this is an amazing series & opportunity to experience history. This is not the usual; it goes beyond the basics to bring information to your history study that would otherwise take hours of research. You essentially get to go back in time as well as have an in-home historian for these very thought provoking fieldtrips. "Fieldtrip" doesn't do it justice; these are experiences. Our entire family of 4 gathers around the computer to watch them again &...(more)

We have always loved Williamsburg and the quality experience they offer. We knew this would be a good choice, and these field trips have not disappointed us. They are fun, informative, creative, and interesting... plus it connects us with students across the country! It's also a nice change of pace from our normal school routine. Thanks Co-op for making this affordable!
Sally L., Co-op Member
We love Williamsburg, but aren't able to visit very often. The EFTs are almost like being there, with the added benefit of being able to glean information from the history experts and re-enactors. We used this program for our two youngest boys and they really enjoyed it. Much more interesting to them to watch history come alive on the computer than to read a book about history. We will sign up for the EFTs again for the 2009-2010 school year! I told everyone I knew about this group buy opportunity.
