|Will my student need American History 1 and 2 in order to earn the full credit for High school?
The WorldView Software has enough content to satisfy the requirements of all 50 states. For example, most states treat World History as a 1-year course, but New York State has World History as a 2-year course. World History A and World History B have enough material for the 2-year curriculum. States devoting only 1 year to World History pick and choose among the topics, with most of the emphasis generally being placed on topics in World History A. In New York, students cover American History I and II in one year, but most states do just American II in one year. Thus New York schools would leave out material from our products that other states would cover in order finish the NYS curriculum. It is best to check your state's educational website for a curriculum document and follow the coverage that is recommended.
|What if my student needs more than a year to complete the course?
If your student needs to continue the course after the end of the one year subscription, simply purchase a new subscription for the same course. Be sure to enter the current teacher and student information on the order form.
|Is anything graded in WorldView Software? Is there an Answer Key?
The software grades all multiple-choice activities -- both the Study Sessions and the Practice Tests. The scores are visible as the student goes through the activity and may be printed out at the completion of the activity. Ii is also recorded internally and may be viewed through the Progress Tracker. Answer Keys are not provided with this subscription.
