Anyone Can Be A Simply Music Piano Teacher
Teaching Simply Music is easier than you might think. Many homeschool parents have discovered that as a Simply Music teacher, they create a home based business that complements the education of their children, offers a valued service to their community, and contributes financially to their family.
While prior musical knowledge is helpful, many of the successful Simply Music teachers are not expert musicians. The success ingredients are a desire to learn, a desire to teach, and a joy of seeing musicianship develop in their students.
The Simply Music teaching method allows non-expert teachers to quickly assimilate the method and successfully teach children to play 40-50 songs in their first year, as well as establish a foundation on which to develop more advanced musicianship.
As a teaching method, it is popular with the homeschool audience for the following reasons:
- It is uniquely successful in teaching beginners to play the piano.
- It fosters child-to-child learning among siblings.
- It teaches a personal responsibility for progress on the part of the student that also engages the parent in the student’s progress.
- It features an approach based on shared lessons, or groups, allowing additional opportunity for creative social experiences among students.
As a home based business, it uniquely appeals to homeschool parents:
- It allows a homeschool parent the opportunity to build a home-based business that is consistent with their educational and family values.
- It creates a unique income opportunity whereby a homeschool parent can often earn a good living while also meeting their family responsibilities.
- With extensive provisions for individual coaching and web resources, teaching Simply Music does not require advanced music knowledge.
Currently, some of the most successful Simply Music teachers started as homeschool parents, and continue to remain homeschool parents while maintaining a student base of 30-60 students each week.
This level of success is due to the unique nature of the Simply Music method. With this program, students can participate in Shared Lessons. These accelerate how quickly and easily student learns, as well as compound the income opportunity of the teacher, while keeping the hours worked somewhat constant.
How Simply Music Trains Teachers
Simply Music offers a unique Teacher Training Program (TTP) that guides the prospective teacher through the curriculum and prepares the new teacher to:
- Teach the curriculum in a professional and quality manner.
- Launch the business in stages and in an orderly progression for success.
- Manage and simplify the complexities of record keeping, enrolling students, managing parents and achieving expectations.
- Take advantage of the deep resources of the Simply Music community including web training, peer mentoring, message boards, forums and personal coaching.
The TTP is delivered via an extensive library of video, audio and printed teaching instruction materials. It is also supported by personal phone consultation with Simply Music's Founder, Neil Moore, who has personally coached hundreds of teachers with this approach.
Teachers pay a Licensing Fee that includes the initial training materials and instruction. After the initial training, the Licensed Teacher is free to begin teaching and building their student base. Ordinarily, the Licensing Fee costs $2,000, but members can become Simply Music teachers for as little as $1,250 if at least 11 of us sign up through this Group Buy.
