Would you like to give homeschooled kids another reason to dive into a great book this summer? You have come to the right place! Here's how it works:

Use the form below to donate a prize to our virtual Community Treasure Chest. Prizes should be books, DVDs, CDs, or gift cards with a retail value of no more than $30. Given the diversity of our membership, items with religious or secular themes are welcome. However, please donate items that young people ages 3-18 would want! Your donation will show up in our community treasure chest on our Community Treasure Chest page within 1 or 2 hours.
Every Tuesday at noon (Pacific), all summer long, the Co-op will do a drawing for three winners, and they can then sign in to claim their prize from among ANY of the prizes in the community treasure chest, first come first served.
If a winner claims YOUR prize, we will email you their name, address, and contact information so that you can send them their prize.
GOLD RUSH! On August 31 at 1:00 PM Pacific, we will open the entire treasure chest to ALL reading program participants, on a first-come, first-served basis, one prize per child. We're hoping that by then we'll have a TON of prizes in our community treasure chest so that ALL our kids will get to pick a prize. If not, we hope their parents will have something special socked away for them just in case! -- Comments?

Terms & Conditions for Prize Donors:

You must be a member of the Homeschool Buyers Co-op.
You accept full responsibility for getting your prize to the winner, whether by mail (as in the case of books, CD's, or DVD's) or email (in the case of gift certificates).
If for some reason you are unable to provide the promised gift, you agree to notify the Co-op so that we can give the winner another opportunity to select a different prize.
You agree that the Co-op has the right to refuse to publish your prize at our sole discretion. We won't publish prizes that may be controversial.

Prize Picture URL:

If possible, enter the URL to a picture of the prize (on Amazon or elsewhere). Here's how:

Go to a page on the Internet that displays a photo of the prize.
Right-click on the photo. Your browser software will display a pop-up menu.
Internet Explorer:
1. Select "Properties".
2. Triple-click the Address (URL) in the Properties dialog.
3. Right-click the selection, and select "Copy" from the pop-up menu.
All other browsers: Select "Copy Image URL" in Google Chrome; "Copy Image Location" in Firebox; "Copy Image Address" in Safari; or the similar-sounding selection in other browsers.
Paste into the space above.

Note: It's not necessary to provide a Prize Picture URL if you are donating a gift card; we'll do that automatically for you.
