It's not too large as to overwhelm young children and they really enjoy being able to see so many different animals.
Favorites are getting to watch the penguins - especially at feeding time, the giraffes, the variety of big cats - especially the tigers who are usually fairly active.
Even though we have moved out of the area we usually make it a point to head to the zoo when visiting family in Boise as it is a fun learning experience. |
