 | | Laura Dawson, Co-op Member | | What a great piece of history! You can see the markers of the very first flights made by the Wright Brothers. The museum is full of information all about the brothers. There are many pictures of famous pilots including astronauts. There is also a replica of the famous glider used by the Wright Brothers. When we visited, our daughter was taught how to make a kite out of a black garbage bag and then got to fly it. There are Rangers on hand to answer questions and offer talks. You can also take a hike up to the Wright Brothers Memorial. It's a great place to visit. |
