| World of Energy |
Located at the Oconee Nuclear Station, Duke Energy's World of Energy is an exciting way to learn about energy in a fun, interactive environment. Play computer games and learn to use energy wisely. Enter a fission chamber to see how energy is made from the smallest of matter - an atom. Bring a picnic and enjoy the view of Lake Keowee and the beautiful Keowee Valley. Then explore the nature trail.

 | | Beth Fisher, Co-op Member | I am enjoying the Field Trip section here! We will be heading down to SC in a few weeks to take two of our older children down to BJU. I am browsing your SC Field Trip listings and finding a lot of free things for us to do. We had been to the Duke Power Plant...World of Energy when out older children were young and hope to go there with our younger children. The website for the Duke Power Plant is now
