| Wheaton Arts & Cultural Center |
| This center includes the internationally-known Museum of American Glass. It is a fun and interactive way for children to discover the science, industry, art and magic of glassmaking from colonial times to the present. The center also includes the Down Jersey Folklife Center which offers permanent exhibitions related to the folk traditions and cultural diversity of southern New Jersey. It also sometimes has special exhibits highlighting the region's many ethnic groups and art forms. Interesting parts of the center are the Artist Studios. As artists share their craft, they discuss materials and the science, history and social forces that have shaped both art and culture. They work with wood, clay and molten glass. The center sits among beautiful grounds and it is interesting to note that the sands that form a major part of glass are local to this area. |
