Facility:Wadsworth-Longfellow House
Description:Built in 1785-86 and added on in 1815, this was the first brick home in Portland. Gen. Peleg Wadsworth was the maternal grandfather of poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who lived in the house during his childhood.
