| Description: | Visit the site of George Washington's winter encampment during the Revolutionary War. Friendly to homeschoolers, the education staff is happy to accomodate homeschooling groups for the Soldier's Life class, as well as, many others. Artifacts found at the site can be seen, free of charge, in the Visitor's Center. Washington's Headquarters charges a small fee, but the rest of the park is free to explore and experience. This is a great educational resource and very homeschool friendly as well. |
