| Facility: | UW Space Place |
| Description: | The mission of UW Space Place is to encourage students, teachers, and the general public to learn, think, and talk about space science and research. Over the years, Space Place has grown to have professionally designed exhibits, a classroom space, lecture room, and a roof top deck for sky viewing. They provide hands-on activities, lively presentations, and informative lectures by UW researchers. Each year, there are over 100 free, public programs and Space Place welcomes over 10,000 visitors. UW Space Place, where science can be fun for everyone! |
