| Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo |
| A very unique experience tucked into a small place. (The park may have a crazy chicken running around in the parking lot.) Visitors can ride on a souped up monster bison bus (converted, but cool school bus) or an open air trolley amongst the buffalo while learning about the buffalo and America's past. There are many other exhibits as well such as: Kangaroos, Wallabies, Capuchins, Macque, African Lion, Black Bear, Cougar, Bengal Tigers and all manner of reptiles. You can even feed and pet a giraffe. Children can ride ponies, and go on archaelogical digs. Parents pack a picnic lunch and let the kids play in a large fort-like playground. This is also a working buffalo farm, and you can buy buffalo meat at the gift shop. |
