 | | R. Curcio, Co-op Member | | The Troy historical meusem is a nice short field trip for people who live in the area. In the fall, there have a day full of activities related to the pioneers. You can attend on this day and tie your lessons to early american history. Or, in the spring they make maple syrup which is a natural lesson to early american histoy, native americans or plant/soil science, as maple trees are a vital part of the Michigan ecosystem. Additional, the historical meusem also have exibits and displays, for example, they had a display of american quilts. Definately worth the trip and nominal fee. |
