Considering the low admission price, the TREE House is worth a half day trip. While the amazing train display kept my 8 year old son occupied for a while, and the arts and crafts were reasonably exciting for my 7 year old daughter, my younger two didn't find too much to keep them occupied for more than an hour. The human body exhibit was pretty good, and the bubble area was intriguing. As a former board member, I'm impressed to see the doors still opened, but the plans for expansion have been slow and interrupted by staff changes. Again, it's worth a half day visit and for the area it's a great asset. There are a few homestyle restaurants worth checking out for lunch within a few blocks. Ask the staff for recommendations.
