Self-guided tours are free (donations excepted), and groups may also purchase a 50-minute hands-on science lesson linked to California State Content Standards for Grades K-5. The Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo is a great place to visit for a couple of hours. Sometimes they have a person to bring out an animal and talk about it in a circle. Another great (and short) trip -- and it's FREE. Also, they will rent out this place for events (birthday parties, etc). |
