Facility:The Marion County Historical Society at Heritage Hall
Description:The Marion County Historical Society nurtures interest in local history through publishing, lectures, special events, children's programming and the operation of The Marion County Historical Society Museum. In May, 1989 the Society purchased Marion's "Old Post Office," renaming it "Heritage Hall." This National Register building is now the Society's headquarters and museum.
