| The Kelton House Museum & Garden |
| A sense of place kept the Kelton family in their grand Victorian townhouse for nearly 125 years. That attachment laid the foundation for a museum that features an extraordinary continuity of documents and furnishings. An active volunteer program provides a training ground for individuals interested in historic preservation, the decorative arts, American history, and museum management. |

 | | Rhonda, Ohio, Co-op Member | | Kelton House is not only an authentically furnished Victorian home but also served as a station on the Underground Railroad. We always enjoy tours of Victorian homes but the added look at the basement, with hidden runaway slave quarters and educational displays explaining the Kelton family's involvement, make that period come alive. Beautiful gardens complete a visit that relaxes while it also challenges us to think about a difficult period in our history. |
