Kelton House is not only an authentically furnished Victorian home but also served as a station on the Underground Railroad. We always enjoy tours of Victorian homes but the added look at the basement, with hidden runaway slave quarters and educational displays explaining the Kelton family's involvement, make that period come alive. Beautiful gardens complete a visit that relaxes while it also challenges us to think about a difficult period in our history.
