Facility:The John Brown Wax Museum
Description:The John Brown Wax Museum graphically tells the story of John Brown and the raid on Harpers Ferry. Voice, music and animation enhance the experience. The John Brown Wax Museum sits in the center of historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Harpers Ferry National Historical Park preserves the flavor of the town at the time of John Brown's raid in 1859. Park visitors will see period clothing, craft demonstrations, and recreations of a town frozen in time -- all explained and acted out by professional National Park Service guides.

John Brown's Wax Museum is nice and tells the story of John Brown's raid very well but it only took us about 15 minutes to walk through it. I do not feel it was worth the $7.50 I paid for each of us. I think it would have been better if there were more narrated parts at each window. We stopped at every window and talked about it be it still was a very quick visit. I really enjoyed the day in Harper's Ferry where the museum is located though.
