 | | Jill R., Co-op Member | | The Florida Aquarium offers visitors the opportunity to learn about Florida marine life from freshwater lakes and ponds, to mangrove swamps, coastal estuaries and coral reefs. There are many fish, animals and birds to see and opportunities to interact with animals including stingrays, snakes, and penguins. The aquarium offers monthly homeschool classes that my children have enjoyed (pre-registration required). There's also a great cafeteria and an outdoor water play area that is lots of fun! |

 | | Danielle, Co-op Member | One of our favorite destinations that we take advantage of with our MOSI Membership for free admission in September. You get up close and personal with lots of native Florida critters. How cool is it to look a gator in the eye!
The outside water area is an added bonus for the kids at the end of the day.
I only gave this field trip 4 stars because unless you are taking advantage of your museum membership or other promotion the admission fee is pretty high for a small aquarium. |
