 | | Sandi Patterson, Co-op Member | | This was awesome! There is lots to see here. Plan on all day. There are many rooms each one a diferent theme. So, if you are nearby you can go for one area of study. Make sure you walk outside along the path that goes along the lake. There Eygptian area was very neat. Alot of displays and information. |

 | | BDF, Co-op Member | The Field Museum is worth visiting just to see their most famous exhibit, Sue the T-Rex. Sue is the most complete T-Rex skeleton ever found. All dinosaur fans will want to see her.
But there's a lot more to see here, as well. The mammals exhibits were a particular favorite. |

 | | Bobbi H, Co-op Member | When you are in the area, you have to allow time for a visit to the Field Museum! So much to see and do. We are in Chicago at least once a year, and it's a "must" on my list to take the kids!
TIP: If you have a membership to a museum in the country- check to see if Field is a reciprocating museum- you may get in free or for a discount! We actually have a family membership with them, which lets us get in free anytime we are there, plus a few of the special exhibits - and then we can use our membership here at home or around the country when we travel for other admissions for free! LOVE that about memberships!! |

 | | Urania Smith, Co-op Member | The Field Museum has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. There's plenty to see and do. From dinosaur hall to the mummies in the ancient Egyptian exhibit, things are always exciting and informative. I have been about 6 times in the last year alone and always learn something new. My kids who are 3 and 8 love going to this museum. My 8 year old son always ask to stop every time we pass it on Lakeshore Drive.
Try to plan your trip on a free day, because admission, parking, and the special exhibits pricing can add up pretty quickly. |
