The Exploratorium is a wonderful hands on science and discovery museum. Both kids really loved being able to touch and interact with just about everything.

The magnet exhibits were a definite favorite as they learned all about magnets and how they work. Also the lights and color portions captured their attentions.

My favorite part of museums like these is that the kids leave there wanting to learn more due to all the hands on activities they were able to take part in.

It is definitely worth a visit for a science loving kid and we plan to go back soon so they can enjoy it more and more.

Be sure to go to this museum on a day when you can spend a lot of time and your child(ren) is/are well rested! If you neglect either of these, you may have a nightmare on your hands (the place is large and *very* busy!!). Otherwise, you're certain to have a great time.

There are so many exhibits on so many different science topics any child is bound to find several (or many!) that interest her or him. Everything is hands-on and aimed at kids of all ages!
