The Children's Museum, established by the Junior League of Lake Charles in 1988, is the home of 19,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits for kids and parents. It is a member of the United Way family of organizations, as well as a recipient of support from the Children's Miracle Network, the Arts and Humanities of Southwest Louisiana, local individuals and corporations, and its many visitors from across the United States and around the world.
The museum has three floors and over 45 hands-on exhibits that provide children and their parents the opportunity to interact, learn and have fun in a safe atmosphere. It offers field trips, birthday parties and special events year round. |
