The Beanstalk Children's Garden

Description:

Visitors to the BEANSTALK are encouraged to use their senses to see, touch, smell and taste plants as part of the learning process. All plants are labeled with names and background information. The garden paths are paved and are fully wheelchair accessible. Offering a Summer Garden Seminar, two Garden Camps, History Camp and Badge Fulfillment Events for both Boy and Girl Scouts. Many gardens to see!

Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm

I actually served on the board for this community gardens for years. The Beanstalk is a beautiful garden spot to visit with lots of great hands on plant to touch and smell. The staff is very knowledgeable and wonderful with kids. The Director is a great supporter of homeschooling. Well worth the $2 you spend. Will inspire you to go home and grow something.
