 | | Leslie MW, Co-op Member | This is a wonderful place to take children to learn about plants and trees. Almost every tree is maked with its common and botanical name. We went in the fall with a notebook in which we labeled and collected leaves from about 50 different trees. When we got home we iorned the leaves and made a book with them.
Their lilac collection is one of the best in the world, so atrip in the spring is lots of fun.
The paths are paved and biking is allowed, which makes it easier to do with smaller children. |
