 | | Deann L., Co-op Member | | My 13 year old and 11 year old and I toured the electric house. It was a fairly short sweet tour, but interesting. The house is a 1950's model of the home of the future. The tour guide showed us and told us about many "futurist" features which were included in the home. My kids' favorite feature was the TV which was hidden by a painting which was an automatic sliding door. I especially enjoyed the tour, because I recognized many features that my grandparents had in their home such as pocket doors and light switches next to the bed so you could turn off the light after you got in bed. You will find this tour interesting if you are interested in history or the 50's. |
