| Tate Farms Cottin Picking Pumpkins |
| Tate Farms is a real working farm where children learn a little about agriculture from growing crops to farm animals. They also get to go on a hay ride to the pumpkin field to pick out their own pumpkin to take home with them. |

| Dates vary each year. Pre-K thru 2nd grade 9-11 a.m. & 11:30-1:30 p.m. They also have a special time for home school groups from 1:30-3:30 p.m. They are also open to the public which includes Saturdays, but the previous info is just for school tours. |

 | | Lisa C., Co-op Member | | Tate Farms is my kids' favorite field trip of all time! And they're all teens. As they've grown, it's become a family tradition, and the exhibits have grown, too. We always enjoy going with a group at night, because we get to have a hay ride, pick pumpkins by flashlight, and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. We also enjoy the corn bins, petting the rabbits, and making our way through the hay bale maze. Come prepared to take lots of pictures, because there are so many photo ops. We look forward to this one every fall. |
