| Description: | Sun Gallery has a wide variety of educational activities for both children and adults including hands-on experiences in the studio, lectures, workshops, storytelling, interactive chats with artists and educators, film screenings and readings that reflect the tenor of the current exhibit. Programs range from monthly drop-ins for families to annual events like the summer art day camp and the Children's Book Illustrators exhibit. Sun Gallery offers professionally-conducted tours of gallery exhibitions. These educational experiences are tailored for specific age groups and interests. Tours are one and one half hours including a 45 min art project given by art educator, and are given Feb through April. |
