| Description: | At the city’s center, at 108 Franklin Street, just north of Main Street, stands the haunting beautiful remains of St. Joseph’s Church, a Lockport stone edifice of massive walls, gracefully arched windows and a soaring clock tower. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the inspiring ruin has for the last three decades been owned and preserved by the Landmark Society as a small park and an architectural focus for future downtown development. |
