It's getting more and more crowded, but that's because the apples and other fruit are yummy and minimally sprayed with pesticides, if at all. It isn't cheap, but the experience is fun. There is also a petting "zoo" which the kids like. If you don't want to pick fruit, you can buy apples and pies and stuff in the store. During apple season it's like a carnival with music and wagon rides and food for sale.
