| Sci-Quest |
| Sci-Quest is a hands-on science center with more than 125 permanent, interactive exhibits in seven different subject areas. Unlike a typical "museum," Sci-Quest's exhibits are designed to engage, educate and entertain. |

 | | Lisa C., Co-op Member | | Sci-Quest is a fun but small science museum with lots of hands-on activities to keep kids engaged. The exhibits rotate at least a couple of times a year, but they're always fun. Some permanent exhibits include an earthquake simulator, a wave maker, a tornado chamber, a giant magnetic swing, a perpetual motion machine, a robotic arm students can operate, magnetic dust for sculpting and lots more. There's also an area for pre-school and early elementary kids. Expect to spend an hour or more. My kids enjoyed it, but not as much as the McWane Center in Birmingham. |

 | | J. Thompson, Co-op Member | This is a hands on science center that we found entertaining for young children, but it is not up to par with the other science centers we've visited. A couple of the exhibits appeared to be torn up and wouldn't work. The little kids love the 2-story house in the center.
The center offers a number of summer camps as well as several educational events throughout the year. My middle schooler loved the summer camp and really learned a lot. The camp was reasonably priced and worth the money. |
