| Santa Cruz City Museum of Natural History |
The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History has been bringing the delights and wonders of the natural world to Santa Cruz residents and visitors for 100 years. With it's early beginnings in the Santa Cruz public library, the Museum collections and displays have been housed in various locations in the City.
Plans are underway to build a new, larger Museum at Depot Park. While construction is still several years away, you are invited to enjoy the exhibits and programs at the Seabright location, and keep checking back at the website for news on their progress.
New offerings include Natural Science Illustration for Kids, Art and Nature Explorers Summer Camp, and Super Summer Saturdays.

 | | Jennifer Z., Co-op Member | | Nice little museum. Docents put on a very nice program for the kids about the native people of this area and how they lived. It is on the small side, but is located across from a nice big beach to play at afterward. I think this one requires the docent presentation to be really exciting for the kids. |
