Facility:San Juan Historical Museum
Description:The San Juan Historical Museum is located on the grounds of the once expansive 445-acre James King farm. The museum consists of eight buildings, four of which are from the original farm. The original structures are the 1894 James King Farmhouse, a carriage house, root cellar and milk house. The original San Juan County Jail, a barn, 1891 log cabin and Resource Center round out the remaining structures. Each building houses displays and exhibits of early life on San Juan Island.
