| Located near the Angeles National Forest, this park offers visitors a variety of nature trails that traverse over one thousand acres of chaparral and riparian vegetation. There is also a natural history museum and a zoo. Throughout various times of the year, the park sponsors wildlife fairs that include animal exhibits, crafts, native Indian dance programs, and food booths. The park also has a junior ranger program. Reservations are available for tours, youth group camping and organized group picnicking. A guide for plant identification is available at the Nature Center. Other hiking trails may be explored by the more experienced hiker. |
