 | | Melanie H., Co-op Member | This was a fun trip for us. We took a ride and we were given a tour. It did seem a little fast to us and some of the animals were hard to see, but overall I would do it again. I would definitely choose to pack a lunch and take it with me next time as well.
My children enjoyed this and we will go again when we visit CA! |

There's all sorts of things to see and learn about. i would definately recommend taking the bus tour so you can see the whole zoo and plan out your day. |

 | | Jackie, Co-op Member | | This is now the San Diego Safari Park. My family loves this place. We get the zoo membership for our family, which is worth it. It's good for the Safari Park and the zoo admission, plus you get free bus (zoo) and free tram (safari park). The best time to go is in October, the weather is perfect, no summer crowds, and the kids have free admission. My kids love the lion exhibit and the tram ride. We always pack a lunch to bring and definitely wear good walking shoes, since there is a lot of walking. This is a great learning experience, and you can even feed the giraffes. |

 | | Lorraine D., Co-op Member | | We love this park! We have memberships here, we like it so much. The tram around the park is fantastic, with drivers giving history and animal behavior/habitat info throughout, great photo ops -- and you often get to see the newest baby animals. There are great play areas for kids, a charming carousel, and lots of engaging seasonal activities -- last summer was the Summer of Africa, with traditional music, dance and acrobatic shows and even fantastic African food in the restaurants! We really love the areas around the park where one animal is brought out and showcased, where kids can see the animals up close and ask questions of staff. Fun! |
