 | | Lorraine D., Co-op Member | | This is one of our favorite museums! We usually go on the resident-free Tuesdays so we get in for free. The prehistoric displays are fantastic, as are the plate tectonics experiments. Kids love the hands-on activities such as turning a wheel until a nest of dinosaur eggs wiggle, then crack, then a baby dinosaur emerges. A cave with a saber tooth tiger atop and smaller animals inside is a popular hang-out for little kids. The theater is also a fantastic learning opportunity. |
