| Facility: | Rosenberg Library and Museum |
| Description: | The Museum Department maintains and exhibits artifacts that document the history of Galveston and early Texas, as well as the Library's fine art collection. Permanent and alternating exhibits are located on the third floor in the Lykes, Hutchings and Harris galleries. Check out the Children' Department with a variety of programs offered for all ages, including Toddler Times, Story Times, programs for school aged children, Family Fun Nights, Story Fair for day cares, and the Summer Reading Club. The professional children's librarians offer tours of the department to elementary school children and provide book talks to assist young patrons in book selection. |
