| Description: | At the head of Napa Valley, Mount St. Helena is a premier hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, sightseeing, and hand gliding destination. Rising behind Calistoga, Mt. St. Helena is one of the remaining volcanic mountains in the Mayacamas range made up of 2.4 million year old volcanic rocks. Preserved within Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, the 4,344 feet mountain overlooks Napa Valley. At the peak of Mt. St. Helena Hiking Trail, is a scenic 4-mile hike to the summit. |
