This is a great aquarium that has the added bonus of being located at the beach. They have a great tunnle that the kids always enjoy. In the tunnle the aquarium is above and to both sides of you as you walk through and provides a wonderful view of the sharks as well as the different types of ocean life.

A nice aquarium, but it cost way too much to get in. I'd would rather go a local aquarium at a much cheaper price. The best part of Ripley's is the walk-thru aquarium.

This was a neat aquarium! It is an expensive aquarium to visit, but our entire homeschool support group went and we did get a homeschool discount. I would not pay full price to get in to this aquarium. It took about 2 or 3 hours to get through. There is a lot to see! My children were 8, 7, and 5 at the time and they all enjoyed it and did not get bored. The overhead tunnel was everyone's favorite part. We made several stops in Myrtle Beach that day, including the 3D IMAX, Medieval Times, and Ripley's Aquarium. It was a great field trip day.

Ripley's Aquarium is a pretty fun place to visit. While I can't say it is as great as the Georgia Aquarium, it is certainly worth a visit. The kids always enjoy it when we go. We don't visit every time we go to Myrtle but have made it a frequent stop. Would recommend.

This is a fantasic field trip! Our homeschool group's field trip coordinator always gets us in for an extremely reasonable price. I don't know how she does it, but our group goes to IMAX 3D, Ripley's Aquarium, and Magiquest (all located within the same complex), for about $17 a student for EVERYTHING! The variety of species is fantastic, and they always have a very cool, well done special exhibit. The moving sidewalk/tunnel is our favorite. There's nothing like seeing sharks above you and on all sides! I hear it's quite expensive if you don't get a discount, I probably wouldn't be able to afford admission for our whole family without it.
