| Racine Zoological Gardens |
| A visit to the Racine Zoo is more than viewing and learning about the animals. It can be a day at the park, picnic, a stroll along the beach, topped off with an evening band concert. Tree lined paths wind through grounds with numerous flower gardens, and picnic areas overlooking the lake. Zoo Beach is open to the public and provides a wonderful spot to relax. During the summer, the Zoo hosts its Animal Crackers Jazz Series on selected evenings. |

 | | Starla Robbins, Co-op Member | | This is a very inexpensive zoo and even though it is small we liked it alot. They have giraffe feeding in the summer, and they have a beach right next to the zoo. They have a very small aquarium with a turtle, snake and some nice fish. |
