| Description: | Powell Gardens is a 915 acre botanical garden offering beautifullly disigned and colorful gardens including the Prennial Garden, Rock and Waterfull Garden, and Island Garden. The Visitor Education Center terrace boasts 12,000 square feet of colorful bulbs, annuals and seasonal exhibits. Other features include a chapel, nature and hiking trail, prarie meadow and pavilion. There are special events, activites, exhibits, and educational programs year-round. |
