Located in the heart of the Golden Heart City, Pioneer Park is a 44 acre historic theme park located on the Chena River in Fairbanks, Alaska. It's a place to relax and smell the roses, a place to explore the past, a place to learn, and a place to play. Visit the many merchants that reside in historical cabins.

There are endless things to do at this park and entrance is FREE! Even the little rides (including a great train ride around the park) are at modest prices. Love the shopping, the museums, and the great play equipement. Pack a picnic (or eat from one of several vendors in the shopping area) and plan to spend an entire day the first time you go! And...You WILL go back!
