 | | Judy Finkell, Co-op Member | | The Orlando Science Center is one of our favorite places to go. Their exhibits change frequently enough that it is never the same experience. My 11-year-old daughter thinks the baby alligators are absolutely precious! And they have the same type of turtle we do - the red eared slider. The observatory is incredible! The mini activities in the halls in between exhibits are really fun for the kids. I am also impressed with their gift shop. We always find something to add to our studies. And one last thing, my daughter wanted to add, "The food is quite good, too!" |

 | | Lisa Beach, Co-op Member | | We've been members of the Orlando Science Center for quite a few years. They offer a variety of unchanging exhibits (Florida habitat w/ baby alligators, electricity, Kids Town, etc.) plus a good mix of limited-engagement exhibits, such as Titanic, The Human Body, Nascar, Richard Scarry's Busytown, etc. We love going to the observatory to check out the constellations and, if we're lucky, see Mars, Saturn and/or Venus. The Orlando Science Center offers a variety of hands-on homeschool classes and some fun, educational, live science shoes geared toward kids/families. Plus, the Science Center shows several large-format films every day in their 3-story, dome-shaped theater. |
