The Zoo is nestled among the majestic 477 acre wilderness park.
The Zoo's focus is on animals and plants native to the southwestern United States. Animals on exhibit include black bears, mountain lions, bald eagle, island foxes, ocelot, red-tailed hawk, great horned owls, porcupine, coyotes, turkey vultures, coati and more. The zoo also features a barnyard with domestic goats, chevoit sheep, jacob sheep, pot-bellied pigs, doves and pheasants.

 | | Jackie, Co-op Member | | We have been here a couple of times. It is a very very small zoo. You can see the whole zoo in about 15 minutes, which is great for very young children. It is within Irvine Park, so you need to pay admission into the Park and admission into the zoo. They do have different activities and classes for children offered throughout the year. It is good to visit if you are in the area and are visiting Irvine Park for the pumpkin patch or Christmas train. |
