 | | Joe L., Co-op Member | | Now known as Science Museum Oklahoma in OKC, this is a very good museum, with alot of hands on activities for youngsters to get involved. the permanent exhibits are excellent and the changing exhibits can be awesome. It is also conveniently next to the OK City Zoo (across the street) which in combination make for a solid all day field trip and well worth a drive. |

 | | Teresa M, Co-op Member | | We are big fans of the Science Museum. For this past Christmas a family friend gave us a membership. Even though we have been 3 times this year we still enjoy each visit. There are a lot of hands on activities, a planetarium, an IMAX theater, live shows, and a nice gift shop. Right now there is an actual bed of nails that you can lay on and push a button to raise the nails!! Amazing feeling! This is not only fun for the kids to visit but the parents as well. I was very happy to see they have remodeled their eating area. It is much nicer now. |

 | | Laura M., Co-op Member | This was a good, fun museum. My sisters and I took all our children there for a day. (1 sister had membership there, the other 3 had reciprocal science memberships so it was free).
All ages liked the tree house and the pulleys and gadgets.
The little ones enjoyed the space set up for little ones - with face painting, water play, etc.
Our favorite thing was the "road" course for the Segway. (I don't know if that was a traveling one or not, I don't see that on the website now). After taking three separate practice runs around the outside, we were able to go through the obstacle course. My son said they have gyroscope technology to make them work.
One caution - for families with lots of littles, it is not laid out very well. We had adults to stay at several stations and watch children and rotate ours around but we still lost my nephew for about 5 minutes. It is a very open floor plan. |

 | | Tara N, Co-op Member | | This museum is great! We got a membership this year and I'm sure we will get a membership in the future! It is very hands-on and has lots of things for all ages. In fact, I think most exhibits are great for a wide range of ages. My children are 6 and 8 and love see how all the things work. While some of the concepts are above their level at this point, they are still seeing how things work. As they get older, they will begin to understand the concepts behind it. But it is great to get them into it and build a foundation for those concepts! One of our favorite exhibits is the weather station. It has monitors that show the current weather and the kids (or adults) can stand in front of a blank board and act like they are the weather person and see themselves on a screen. I personally like the earthquake house and my kids love racing different objects to see which one will get to the end first. I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose to check out this museum as a field trip. Lots of fun and lots to learn! |

 | | D. Martin, Co-op Member | | The Science Museum is a great indoors field trip. The membership is kind of high, so unless you plan on visiting often it may not be worth it. My kids and I usually just try to take advantage of any 1/2 price admission days they have. We will purchase a membership this year so that we can get a big discount on their special programs throughout the year. |
