| Old Baker Farm |
| The Old Baker Farm stands as a historic marker of days gone by. Homesteaded over 200 years ago, the Old Baker Farm withstood the perils of the Civil War and remains today as a traditional family farm, growing crops from cotton to corn, including pumpkins. The farm has been worked by the Baker family for over 100 hundred years and was one of only 12 farms featured in the USDA 2000 calendar titled "Millennium Celebration of Century Farms." Since it’s founding, the Old Baker Farm has seen six generations of the Baker family. The farm is open to the public for seasonal special events and activities, so visit with us at the Old Baker Farm and take a step back in time! |

 | | A. Smith, Co-op Member | | This was a nice history-rich trip for us to take, however, it was mainly self-guided. Our group wasn't directed where to go at what time. We were under the assumption we would have some kind of itenerary when we got there but we were mainly just told where to start- after that we were on our own and had to ask the performers where to go next. A bit disorganized but still worth the trip :) |
